You are not hollier than us

A remark of a blogger about those of us who blog for money disturbed me quite a bit. He mentioned that if you have been blogging for money all this while, he won’t listen to what you have to say about social and political issues and so on.

How do this people got their hollier than thou attitude? Excuse me, if you choose not to blog for money, it doesn’t make you hollier than us! It may mean you are luckier than us as you do not need the money, or you are more stupid than us as you don’t grab the opportunity like some of us do.

Writing paid posts is hard work! You work in a dungeon, lie through your teeth to help your clients beautifying their balance sheets, and we work at home punching the keyboards rushing out posts that help our advertisers to rank well in the search engines. What makes think you are somehow more noble and contributing more to the society by blogging about your life in slavery and rants about the useless government ?(like all of us don’t know?)

unsecured business loan to start a business

We used to run a small preschool and a tutoring center. We started the business with our savings, which is quite typical of small business owners, most could not or would not get financing from the big lenders.

It’s actually quite difficult or should I say near impossible to obtain a Business Loan without collaterals or co-signor(s). Most conventional lenders do provide unsecured loans, but they have ridiculously high interest. Unless the business that you are going to start has very high profit margins and good returns, it can be quite a burden to keep up with the repayments. That’s something that we need to take into consideration before taking a loan to start a business.

Submit a reconsideration request ?

Just learned that Elaine gained back the PR of her blog after submitting a reconsideration request to granny G a week ago. I am considering whether to clean up my Montessori blog on blogspot and ask for a reconsideration.

Since it has been smacked to PR0 and being on a subdomain, there is really no much opportunity to write paid posts on it. The blog has hit quite a few keywords in its niche and rank high in the SERP for this keywords. It gets a lot of search engine traffics and has been doing quite well with Adsense recently.

Should I?
