Desktop went kaput, would not boot!
Was just telling someone that the Dell desktop we bought in 2005 did not give us any problems in the last three years. Oops, didn’t touch the wood, it went kaput last night!
Was having problem getting online last week, thought the modem went out. But did not bother to get a replacement. Since the visa interview is scheduled and would not be here for long, thought would just temporarily use dad’s computer to get online. Last night, I turned on the computer trying to backup some files inside, it would not even boot!!
Looks like need to send the computer to the shop, it has lots of files that I did not have a chance to backup, hopefully all is not lost!!! I hope the hard disk and video cards are not gone!
