Need driver license and auto insurance
Time really flies, it has been 10 days since arriving here on September 30. Haven’t really completely recovered from jet lag, but the mid afternoon sleepiness seems to have gone for good. Though have not been able to drive here yet, guess driving in this small town with little traffics is no sweat compare to driving in the jungle back home. :-)
Would need the relevant IDs i.e. Social Security card and the Green Card before sitting for tests to get a driving license. Hopefully they will come in the mail in another 2-3 weeks. The big boy also need to add me onto the auto insurance before I can drive the car. He would probably add me onto the existing plan instead getting new auto insurance quotes. The insurance company will consider me a new driver as my previous driving experiences in a foreign country won’t be counted, hope the premium won’t cost too much!
